Axel Brauns was born in Hamburg in 1963. In 1984 he broke off his law studies to write a book about his autistic childhood: “Coloured Shadows and Bats”, which was published in 2002 and became a bestseller. His second book was published in 2004:”Cranes and Intruders”, a novel about a little girl in a house full of rubbish. At the beginning of 2005 he made his first film, which will have its premiere in the cinemas in 2006. |
