Even kissing doesn’t help. He won’t turn into a prince. Mr. Right is always the wrong one. Liars, cheats, serial criminals and perverts. They all find their way into the completely normal everyday life of women of about 30 who are just looking for one thing: Mr. Right, the partner for life. No-one understands why they don’t find him: they are attractive, clever and sincere, but they always end up with wrong ’uns… Relentlessly Roman Maria Koidl lays bare the method of the wrong ‘uns, the two-timers, the men leading double lives, the ‘not yet ready’ experts, the once-a-fortnight men, the ‘I’ve just emerged from a relationship’ guys and the inevitable fugitives. Bastards goes even further and gives clear answers to the question why women keep falling for the same type of man. The book addresses an extremely pertinent problem for many women in this age group and also paints an unvarnished picture of present-day sexual realities.
